Trade Show Tips

Trade shows and corporate events are powerful platforms for businesses to connect with potential customers and build brand awareness.  Here is a set of strategies to help businesses make the most of their trade show or corporate event booth and attract more visitors.

1) Utilize eye-catching graphics and displays: Invest in high-quality and visually striking elements such as backdrops, banner stands, and tablecloths that prominently feature your brand's logo and messaging. This will help your booth stand out and be easily recognizable to attendees.

2) Develop a clear and consistent message: Ensure that your booth staff is well-trained on your products, services, and messaging. This will help ensure that attendees receive a consistent message from everyone they interact with at your booth.

3) Offer hot and trendy swag: Attendees appreciate free items, and providing small, branded items can be an effective way to attract visitors to your booth and keep your brand top-of-mind.  Don't forget to have some luxury swag on hand for high-value potential clients.

4) Create interactive experiences: Attendees are more likely to engage with your brand if they can experience it in a hands-on way. Consider utilizing branded interactive activities such as prize wheels, golf putt games, or other interactive experiences that allow attendees to learn more about your products or services.

5) Implement a follow-up plan: Trade shows and corporate events are valuable opportunities to connect with potential customers, but the real value lies in following up after the event. Ensure that you have a plan in place to capture contact information from attendees and follow up with them after the event.

A Top 40 supplier in Canada is committed to helping those in desperate need.

As part of its philanthropic 1:1 InitiativeStormtech (asi/89864) recently donated $500,000 worth of apparel, including jackets, thermal wear and sweaters, to victims of the 7.8-magnitude and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6. The natural disaster left more than 50,000 dead and thousands of structures completely destroyed. An estimated 1.5 million people, including 850,000 children, have been left homeless.

The supplier in Burnaby, BC, collaborated with Bianca Fusco Zanatta, founder of Reach for Outer Space, a Canadian charitable organization that helps vulnerable families and children, as well as the Turkish Consulate General in Vancouver to get the apparel to impacted areas.

“The horrific tragedy has left many survivors without basic necessities, including warm clothing,” said Blake Annable, president and CEO of Stormtech. “As a company that has the means to make a small difference for some of these survivors, it’s our duty to contribute whatever we can.”
